Positive: Customers praised the garage's communication, service, and effort to fix problems, citing examples of excellent customer service and reliability.
Negative: Some customers were unhappy with the quality of work, communication, value for money, and timing at Cross Street Garage, citing problems with diagnosis, repairs, and customer service.

Communication and Service

Many customers praised Cross Street Garage for their excellent communication and service. Authors Chelsey Taylor, Jeremy Jackson, and Simon Cain all mentioned that they were kept informed throughout the repair process, and that the staff explained everything clearly. The garage also went above and beyond to help Jeremy after his car's battery died, and Simon appreciated the team's efforts to source standard VW wheels for his van.

Quality of Work

However, some customers were not satisfied with the quality of work done at Cross Street Garage. Authors James A., Denzil Fernandes, Paul Deller, and James Wickham all had problems with their vehicles after taking them to the garage. James A.'s family car was left in a terrible state, with mould and a long wait. Denzil Fernandes had his prop shaft removed and then reattached with one bolt left off and a hole in the coupling. Paul Deller's Tesla came back from the MOT and service with broken aircon and demisters, and his lease provider was unhappy with the garage's work.

Value for Money

James Wickham was unhappy with the costs he was quoted at Cross Street Garage, and felt that the garage did not provide good value for money. He was quoted high prices for a sump pan and exhaust section, and was surprised to find that the team did not even look at certain issues.

Timing and Reliability

The garage's timing and reliability were also a concern for some customers. James A. had to wait months for his family's car to be repaired, and James Wickham felt that the garage took too long to diagnose and repair his van.

Overall Satisfaction

Despite some positive reviews, it seems that Cross Street Garage has had some issues with quality of work, communication, value for money, and timing. While they have helped some customers with problems and provided good service, others have been left dissatisfied.
